ROCKLIN — November 2, 2026. Rocklin Parks and Recreation’s ’26 Parks in 2026′ project highlighted a different neighborhood park each week from March through October, offering families a free passport to record visits.
How the passport worked
The city published a checklist of 26 neighborhood parks and encouraged participants to visit them, mark the locations they explored and share community photographs with the hashtag #RocklinParks2026. The list started with Vista Grande Park in March and ended with Boulder Ridge Park in October.
A free way to rediscover the city
The program covered parks such as Sierra Meadows, Pebble Creek, Breen, Gayaldo, Roundhouse and Peter Hill Heritage. Because it focused on parks across different neighborhoods, residents could find walking and playground options away from major sports complexes.
The calendar is over, the parks remain
The 2026 spotlight schedule has concluded, but the city’s published passport remains useful as a self-guided recreation checklist. Check the individual park’s rules, maintenance notices and facilities before planning a group outing.
