ROCKLIN — November 2, 2026. Rocklin’s Breen Park combines playgrounds for two age groups with a one-acre oak-tree restoration project that began with neighborhood and school participation.
What was planted
The city says more than 75 blue, valley and interior live oak seedlings were planted in 2003 by schoolchildren and nearby residents. That restoration is a distinct feature of the park, alongside open turf and walking paths.
Family amenities
Breen Park is at 2842 Shelton Street. It has a larger playground for school-age children, a smaller preschool play area, benches, barbecues and picnic tables. Park hours run from dawn to one hour after sunset.
First come, first served
Rocklin says this neighborhood park does not accept reservations for its public picnic areas. A large private event should not assume exclusive use of park space; check rules and any maintenance notice before arriving.
