ROCKLIN — November 2, 2026. Rocklin maintains an official interactive geographic map with Recology’s trash collection routes and separate weekly and monthly street-sweeping layers.
Three different schedules
The city’s GIS service includes a trash collection schedule, weekly street sweeping and monthly street sweeping. The monthly layer distinguishes such patterns as the first Monday or second Wednesday of the month. A weekday alone may not be enough to determine a monthly sweeping date.
Why an address lookup matters
A schedule on a neighboring block can differ from the service assigned to a specific street segment. Residents should check the mapped road and signs rather than rely on an old general chart, particularly when avoiding parking restrictions during sweeping.
Map data are not an emergency alert
A route map does not confirm that a truck has completed service today or that storms have not interrupted work. For missed trash collections or unexpected changes, verify the current arrangement with the city or Recology.
